I am not a slacker. I just got busy at work! So, I'm a slacker. Not dedicating my 15-30 minutes of blogging time. Unfortunately, my blogging is directly related to how much free time I have to think (and read what other people say) about all things cycling. The "Tour" is happening and I'm in my dim, non-cable-access world of trying to maintain a sense of what's happening. What's happening? Argh. Damn Versus. Oh well, at least they have fairly good (free) online coverage (with video).
OK, back to work!

hey, is it just me or is the forum not working??? i tried to get on at home this morning, then tried again from work this afternoon....both times the server timed out!?! i finally had something to say and now this....! oh well....it probably wasn't that interesting anyway....
Hey, you're not the only one depending on Versus online video. No cable and no TV here, either. Been walking around the corner to the bar and grill to see a little coverage tho.

This is where it is. THere are other sites with live video feed too but I like this one. I can 'watch' the tour at work with this. www.Eurosport.com
You get a live play by play texting and a graphic. The graphic shows a little diamond that goes along the profile so you can see where they are. Its pretty exciting.

You know, I move here from Germany four years ago and we had live coverage ALL day long: from the start to the finish: EVERYTHING!
It so happened to be at times, right after finals or so, where I had nothing else to do but...oh heavens.
When we came her and I watched it on TV the first time, I was SOOO disappointed:(
Now, I almost don't want to watch not to get too excited about it...
After all, I am just a MTB:)
